Indoor cannabis seeds are genetics bred (or selected) specifically for tent and grow-room conditions — compact structure under 100cm, predictable flowering under a 12/12 light schedule, mould resistance for low-ventilation boxes, and yields that actually justify your LED wattage. If you're running a 60x60, 80x80, or 120x120 tent and want strains that finish fast without eating your ceiling, this is the shelf. Azarius has been stocking seeds since 1999 — 70+ indoor-suited cultivars in stock.

The single most useful filter when you buy indoor cannabis seeds isn't sativa vs indica or photoperiod vs auto — it's how tall the plant gets under a 12/12 flip, and how forgiving it is in 50–60% humidity with a single extraction fan. Get that right and the rest is just topping off the reservoir.
| Tent size | LED wattage | Plants | Good for | Seed picks in stock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 60x60cm | 100–150W full spectrum | 1 auto or 1 trained photo | First-time indoor growers, stealth closet setups | Pineapple Express Auto, Lemon Haze Auto, Cheese Auto |
| 80x80cm | 200–250W full spectrum | 2–4 autos or 2 ScrOG photos | Balanced yield vs footprint — what we'd pick | Biscotti, Wedding Cake, Granddaddy Purple Auto |
| 100x100cm | 300W full spectrum | 4 photos under ScrOG | Growers chasing 400–500g per harvest | Gelato, Rainbow Driver, Do-Si-Dos |
| 120x120cm | 400–480W full spectrum | 4–6 photos, SOG or ScrOG | Experienced growers pushing 600 g/m² | Moby Dick, Bruce Banner, Green Crack, Amnesia Haze |
Short version: if your tent is 80x80 or smaller, prioritise indica-leaning or autoflower genetics with 60–100cm mature height. Save the Hazes and tropical sativas for 120x120 boxes where you can let them stretch. Buy the seed that fits the tent, not the other way round.
Start with your constraints. Ceiling height under 1.8m total (including pot, LED, and extraction)? You need an autoflower or a heavily trained indica — Granddaddy Purple Auto, Apple Fritter Auto, or Biscotti photoperiod topped twice. No experience with LST or ScrOG? Skip the Hazes for now. Amnesia Haze will triple in stretch and punch through the top of an 80x80 before you've figured out the net.
If you're worried about smell in a flat or shared house, autoflowers with shorter flowering windows spend less time stinking the place out — but honestly, every cannabis plant smells during flower. Budget €50–80 for a proper carbon filter and stop worrying about "low-odour strains." There is no such thing in late flower.
For yield-per-watt, indica-dominant photos under ScrOG beat autos every time in a 120x120. Moby Dick, Wedding Cake, and Gelato will push 500–600 g/m² under 400W of decent LED. Autoflowers cap out lower (200–450 g/m² typically) but give you two extra harvests per year. When in doubt, order a 3-pack of Wedding Cake or Blue Dream and a 3-pack of Biscotti Auto — you'll learn more from running both than from reading another buying guide.
Photoperiod seeds in a tent basically require training unless you want a single cola jammed against your light. Topping at the 4th–5th node, LST (low-stress training) tying branches horizontally, and ScrOG netting at the flip are the three techniques that turn 1.5m stretchy genetics into a flat, even canopy. Autoflowers can be LST'd but don't top them — the recovery time eats into their fixed vegetative window and you'll lose yield. For a 60x60 running one autoflower, plain LST with soft plant ties is enough.
Compact autoflowers or heavily LST-trained indicas. From our shelf: Pineapple Express Auto (7–8 weeks, stays under 90cm), Granddaddy Purple Auto, and Lemon Haze Auto. One plant in a 15–20L pot under 100–150W of full-spectrum LED is the sweet spot — trying to cram two in a 60x60 fights you on airflow and light penetration.
Depends on genetics, light, and training. Indica-dominant photoperiods under ScrOG with 300–400W LED typically pull 400–600 g/m² — Wedding Cake, Gelato, and Moby Dick sit in that range. Autoflowers under the same setup land at 200–450 g/m². Sativa Hazes like Amnesia or Ghost Train Haze can exceed 600 g/m² but need a 120x120 and patience.
Not better — different. Autos finish in 8–10 weeks from germination on a fixed 18/6 light cycle, stay compact, and need zero light-schedule management. Perfect for 60x60 and 80x80 tents. Photoperiods yield more per plant, respond to training, and let you veg as long as you want — better for 120x120 tents where you can push 500–600 g/m².
Cheese, Durban Poison, Purple Haze Auto, and Skunk Auto handle 55–65% RH in flower without the bud rot that hits denser indicas like Biscotti or Wedding Cake. Keep airflow constant with an oscillating fan, don't overcrowd the canopy, and pull humidity below 50% in the final two weeks regardless of strain.
Green Crack flowers in 7–9 weeks under 12/12 — one of the fastest photoperiods on our shelf. For autoflowers, Pineapple Express Auto finishes seed-to-harvest in 7–8 weeks total, the fastest we stock. Tangerine Dream Auto and Sour Diesel Auto are both sub-80 days from germination. Fast genetics = more harvests per year from the same tent.
Yes, or the genetics don't reach their potential. A quality full-spectrum LED at 25–35W per square foot covers veg and flower without swapping bulbs. For 80x80, 200–250W actual draw is the minimum to hit advertised yields. Cheap blurple LEDs at 100W "equivalent" will grow cannabis, but you'll get maybe 60% of what the seed is capable of.
