The BallR Cap: Turn Your DynaVap Into a Ball Vape

The BallR Cap is a drop-in replacement cap for any standard DynaVap tip that packs stainless steel balls into an extended-length design, converting your existing setup into a convection-heavy ball vape. No new device needed — just swap the cap, heat it up, and pull noticeably bigger, denser clouds from the same amount of herb. DynaVap designed this one for people who want more vapour and better flavour extraction without buying a whole new vaporiser.

Why the BallR Cap Hits Harder Than a Standard DynaVap Cap

The difference is immediate and physical. Pick up a standard DynaVap cap and then pick up the BallR Cap — you'll feel the extra weight from those stainless steel balls packed into the tip. That mass isn't decorative. The balls act as tiny heat reservoirs, absorbing energy from your torch and releasing it as hot convection air when you draw. More thermal mass means the cap stays hotter for longer through each inhale, which means more of your herb gets properly toasted instead of half-baked on one side.

We've had customers come back saying they didn't realise how much vapour they were leaving on the table with a standard cap. The BallR Cap doesn't change the DynaVap's fundamental design — it just makes it dramatically more efficient. You're pulling hot air through the same chamber, but the air stays hotter for longer, extracting more terpenes and active compounds per draw. The result: thicker clouds, stronger flavour, and a more complete extraction from the same 0.1g dose.

The honest limitation? It takes a touch longer to heat up than a standard cap. Those stainless steel balls need a few extra seconds to reach temperature. Not a dealbreaker — maybe 3-5 extra seconds with a single-flame torch — but worth knowing so you don't underheat it on your first go.

BallR Cap Heat Gradient Lines: Dial In Your Temperature

The BallR Cap has visible heat gradient markings along the tip, labelled "H" and "T", giving you simple visual control over your vapour temperature. Heat near the "H" end for lower temperatures — smoother, more flavour-forward draws with lighter vapour. Heat near the "T" end for higher temperatures — denser, thicker clouds with maximum extraction. This is the same herb, same device, two very different experiences depending on where you point the flame.

If you've used a DynaVap before, you already know the heating technique: rotate the cap in a torch flame and wait for the click. The BallR Cap keeps that click-when-ready indicator, so the workflow doesn't change. The gradient lines just give you a new variable to play with. We'd suggest starting near the middle and working your way toward "T" once you're comfortable — it's easy to overshoot on a ball-loaded cap if you go straight for maximum heat.

Heat Zone Temperature Vapour Character Best For
Near "H" Lower Smooth, wispy, flavour-rich Terpene-forward draws, flavour chasers
Middle Medium Balanced density and taste Everyday sessions, starting point
Near "T" Higher Dense, thick, maximum extraction Cloud production, thorough extraction

Complete your setup: The BallR Cap pairs with any standard DynaVap tip and body — if you're running an M, a VonG, or a B series, you're sorted. Already using DynaVap Dosing Capsules? They work with the BallR Cap too, keeping your chamber clean between sessions. And if you're tired of refilling your torch, an induction heater takes the guesswork out of heating entirely.

How the BallR Cap Compares to a Standard DynaVap Cap

A standard DynaVap cap is a thin stainless steel shell — light, quick to heat, and perfectly functional. The BallR Cap takes that same form factor and adds thermal mass. The stainless steel balls inside the extended tip store more heat energy, which translates directly into longer, hotter draws and more complete extraction. You're getting maybe 30-40% more vapour density per heat cycle compared to a standard cap, based on what we've seen in the shop.

The trade-off is simplicity. A standard cap heats in about 5-7 seconds with a single-flame torch. The BallR Cap needs closer to 8-12 seconds because you're heating more metal. It's also slightly heavier on the end of your DynaVap, which changes the feel in your hand — not unpleasant, just different. If you value speed and minimalism, the standard cap still has its place. If you want the best possible extraction from a DynaVap, the BallR Cap is the upgrade we'd pick.

How to Use the BallR Cap

  1. Remove your existing DynaVap cap from the tip.
  2. Press the BallR Cap onto any standard DynaVap tip — it fits snugly over the end, same as a regular cap.
  3. Load your herb into the DynaVap tip chamber (roughly 0.1g, or use a DynaVap Dosing Capsule for mess-free loading).
  4. Hold a torch flame to the BallR Cap tip. For smoother, cooler vapour, aim near the "H" marking. For denser clouds, aim near the "T" marking.
  5. Rotate the DynaVap slowly and evenly while heating — keep the flame on the cap, not the body.
  6. Wait for the audible click. This tells you the cap has reached vaporisation temperature. Stop heating immediately.
  7. Draw slowly and steadily through the mouthpiece. The stainless steel balls will continue releasing stored heat, giving you a longer, more consistent draw than a standard cap.
  8. Wait for the cool-down click before reheating for a second cycle. Most sessions get 2-4 heat cycles from a single bowl.
  9. When finished, use the built-in Digger Outer on the cap to clear spent herb from the chamber.
