Stash storage is any container, pouch, or jar built to keep herbs, pre-rolls, and smoking gear fresh, discreet, and undamaged. The right piece depends on three things: how much you're storing, how long you need it fresh, and how discreet you need to be. Get those sorted and the choice is easy.

We've been selling stash gear from Amsterdam since 1999, and the honest truth is most customers don't need three different containers — they need one good one and a humidity pack. The number of people who buy a fancy jar and then throw a damp paper towel in it "to keep the bud moist" is still higher than we'd like. Drop in a Boveda or Integra Boost and forget about it.
New to this? Start with a vacuum-sealed container and a humidity pack. Buy the Stashbox Tightvac 0.12L or the 0.57L if you go through a few grams a week, drop in a Boveda 62% Humidipak, and you've solved 90% of the problem. Herb stays fresh for months, no air, no smell, no faff.
Upgrading? If you're curing your own harvest or storing bigger amounts, shop the CVault range. Stainless steel blocks light (glass jars don't, no matter what the Instagram shots look like), and the included Boveda holder clips into the lid. The 0.95L fits an ounce comfortably; go bigger for multi-strain or harvest storage.
Travelling? Smell-proof is the priority. Noaks zip bags are the benchmark — German composite film, double-track zip, properly odour-tight. Grove Bags TerpLoc pouches go a step further and preserve terpenes through micro-gas exchange. For pre-rolls, order a Saverette, Buddies Torpedo, or the RAW 6 Cone Tin if you carry more than one.
Need discretion at home? The diversion safes — toilet brush, AA battery, tinned-food can — work because nobody picks them up to inspect them. Not high-security, but excellent for the roommate-and-visitors threat model.
When in doubt, get the Stashbox Tightvac and a Boveda pack. It's what we'd buy first.
Dry herb burns too hot, tastes harsh, and crumbles through a grinder into dust. Over-moist herb grows mould. The sweet spot for cannabis is 58–62% relative humidity, and keeping it there is a two-euro problem with a two-way humidity pack. Boveda 62% is the default for storage; Integra Boost 55% is better if you're still curing. The RAW Hydrostone is a cheaper reusable option — soak in water for five minutes, drop it in the jar.
For everyday use, a vacuum-sealed container like the Stashbox Tightvac paired with a Boveda 62% humidity pack keeps flower fresh for months. For longer curing, the CVault stainless steel range blocks light and fits the humidity pack in the lid.
The good ones, yes. Noaks zip bags use a multi-layer German composite film with a double-track zip and genuinely block odour. Cheap sandwich-bag knock-offs don't. Grove Bags TerpLoc pouches and the RAW Smokers Pouch are the other reliable choices for travel.
If you want your herb to taste good a month from now, yes. Boveda and Integra Boost maintain 55% or 62% RH automatically — no monitoring, no damp paper towels, no guesswork. One 8g pack lasts 2–4 months in a small jar.
Rough guide: 0.06L Vitavac holds 3–5g, the 0.12L holds around 4g, the 0.29L holds about 8g, the 0.57L fits around 18g, and the 1.3L and 3.8L are for bulk or multi-strain storage. Buy slightly bigger than you think — half-empty containers still vacuum fine.
They're ordinary-looking objects with a hidden compartment — a toilet brush, an AA battery, a tin of food. Nobody picks them up and inspects them, which is the whole point. Good for keeping small valuables out of sight at home; not a safe in the bank-vault sense.
You can, but you'll lose terpenes to light and air, and you'll need to "burp" the jar to manage moisture. A proper stash box with a vacuum seal or silicone gasket plus a humidity pack does the work for you. The RAW glass curing jars are the best compromise if you prefer the glass-Mason-jar look.
