Why You Actually Want an Induction Heater for Dabbing
An induction heater for dabbing eliminates the guesswork of torch-based temperature control — the single biggest factor in dab quality. Here's the thing about torches: they work, but they're blunt instruments. You heat the banger until it glows, wait an arbitrary number of seconds, hope you've landed in the right temperature window, and dab. How to Use The Wand
Setup takes about 2 minutes from unboxing to your first dab. No torch fuel, no learning curve beyond reading the temperature dial.
- Charge The Wand fully via the included USB-C cable before first use. A full charge takes roughly 2 hours.
- Select either the angled or straight banger depending on your rig's joint angle, and insert one of the 2 inner cups into the banger.
- Attach the banger to your dab rig's 14mm joint.
- Power on The Wand and select your desired temperature. Lower temps (around 260–315°C) preserve terpene flavour; higher temps produce thicker vapour with more intensity.
- Place The Wand over the banger so the induction coil surrounds the glass. Press and hold the button to begin heating.
- Once the banger reaches temperature, apply your concentrate using a dab tool while The Wand is still heating, or immediately after removing it.
- Place the carb cap over the banger to restrict airflow and inhale slowly. The carb cap helps vaporise every last bit of concentrate at lower temperatures.
- After your dab, let the banger cool and clean it with a cotton swab while still slightly warm. This keeps the glass clear and prevents residue buildup that affects flavour on the next session.
