White Rhino Feminized Seeds: Dense Indica Weight in 8 Weeks Flat

White Rhino feminized seeds are Indica-dominant cannabis seeds from Nirvana Seeds that cross a White Widow mother with a sturdy Canadian Indica father. The result is a compact, resin-drenched plant that finishes flowering in just 8 weeks and pushes out 350–450g/m² in a SOG setup. If you want heavy, frosty buds without babysitting a lanky Sativa for months, this is the seed to drop.

Feminized Seeds Indica-Dominant 8-Week Flowering 350–450g/m² Yield 18–22% THC 5 Seeds Per Pack

White Rhino feminized seeds come in packs of 5. One pack comfortably fills a 1m² SOG setup — these plants stay bushy and medium-height, so you can squeeze more into a square metre than you could with a stretchy Sativa. No need to buy extra packs unless you're running a larger room.

White Rhino Genetics: White Widow Meets Canadian Indica

White Rhino feminized by Nirvana Seeds is the offspring of two proven lines: a White Widow female crossed with a robust North American Indica male from Canada. That Canadian father is what separates White Rhino from a standard White Widow — it brings shorter internodes, thicker stems, and a denser overall structure that packs on bud weight like nothing else in the White family.

The White Widow lineage shows up in the trichome coverage. Around week 6–7 of flower, the buds frost over completely — a thick blanket of resin glands that makes the "White" name earn its keep. But unlike the original White Widow, which can stretch a fair bit during the flip, White Rhino stays put. Medium height, tight node spacing, and a bushy frame that responds well to SOG and low-stress training. If you've grown White Widow before and wished it was shorter and chunkier, this is the answer.

The 18–22% THC range puts White Rhino firmly in heavy-hitter territory. What makes it a bit unusual is the notable CBD content alongside that THC — most high-THC strains have had the CBD bred out of them over the years, but White Rhino retains a meaningful amount. That dual-cannabinoid profile contributes to what growers and users describe as a deep, full-bodied physical effect rather than a one-dimensional head rush.

Flavour and Aroma: Pungent, Hashy, Fuel-Forward

White Rhino smells like it means business. During the last two weeks of flower, the room fills with a heavy, pungent funk — fuel-forward with a thick hashish undertone that sticks to your clothes. If you're growing without a carbon filter, your neighbours will have questions. We'd call it essential equipment for this strain, not optional.

When dried and cured properly, the flavour comes through best in a bong or a clean glass pipe. You get that dense, hashy smoke with a slightly earthy finish — not fruity, not sweet, just raw and resinous. It's old-school flavour for people who grew up on hash and don't need their cannabis to taste like a smoothie bar. If you prefer terpy, citrusy strains, White Rhino isn't trying to win you over. It knows what it is.

Why White Rhino Feminized Seeds Deliver for Indoor SOG Growers

Here's the thing about SOG setups: you need plants that stay compact, finish fast, and produce uniform canopies. White Rhino ticks all three boxes. The Indica-dominant structure means short, bushy plants with tight internodes — no awkward stretching that throws off your light distribution. At 8 weeks of flower, you're harvesting a full two weeks before most Sativa-leaning hybrids even start fattening up.

The 350–450g/m² yield range is realistic for a well-lit 1m² SOG with 5 plants under a decent LED or 400–600W HPS. We've seen growers hit the upper end of that range with proper feeding and a stable environment, but even on the lower end, 350g/m² in 8 weeks is a strong return on your time and electricity. Compare that to a 10–12 week Sativa that might yield the same — White Rhino gets you there faster with less vertical space.

The honest limitation? White Rhino's compact structure means airflow between the buds can be tight, especially in the lower canopy. Lollipop the bottom third of each plant before the flip, and keep a small oscillating fan pointed at canopy level. Dense buds plus poor airflow equals mould risk — and losing a cola to botrytis in week 7 is genuinely painful. A bit of defoliation in week 3 of flower goes a long way.

How to Grow White Rhino Feminized Seeds

  1. Germinate: Soak your White Rhino feminized seeds in a glass of water for 12–24 hours, then transfer to damp paper towels in a warm, dark spot. Taproots usually show within 48–72 hours.
  2. Seedling stage: Plant the germinated seed 1cm deep in a small pot of light, airy soil or coco coir. Keep humidity around 65–70% and temperatures at 22–25°C. A propagator dome helps.
  3. Vegetative growth: For SOG, keep veg short — 2 to 3 weeks under 18/6 light is enough. White Rhino doesn't need much veg time to fill out. Top or FIM once if you want a slightly wider canopy, but in SOG, single-cola plants work best.
  4. Flip to flower: Switch to 12/12 lighting. White Rhino won't stretch much during the transition — expect 20–30% height increase at most. Start bloom nutrients in week 2 of flower.
  5. Mid-flower maintenance: Defoliate lightly around week 3 of flower to improve airflow and light penetration to lower bud sites. Lollipop the bottom third. Keep humidity below 50% from week 5 onwards.
  6. Late flower and harvest: Trichomes frost over heavily in weeks 6–7. Check trichome colour with a loupe — harvest when most are milky with 10–20% amber for maximum body effect. Expect to chop around day 56.
  7. Dry and cure: Hang whole plants or branches in a dark room at 18–20°C and 55–60% humidity for 7–10 days. Trim and jar for a minimum 2-week cure. The hashy, fuel flavour intensifies noticeably after 3–4 weeks in the jar.

Running a SOG? You'll want a proper grow tent to control the environment — the Dark Box 80x80 fits 4–5 White Rhino plants comfortably with room for a carbon filter. Pair it with a complete ventilation kit to keep airflow moving through that dense canopy. And if you're growing in coco, a reliable pH meter pays for itself after the first run.

White Rhino is basically White Widow's stockier, heavier cousin. The Canadian Indica father adds density and weight that the original White Widow doesn't quite match. If you've grown White Widow and loved the frost but wished the buds were denser and the plant shorter, White Rhino is the upgrade. If you prefer a more balanced, slightly cerebral effect, stick with the original Widow.
