Mimosa is a Clementine x Purple Punch hybrid bred to taste like a glass of fresh orange juice with a berry finish. Most cuts lean sativa-dominant with bright, daytime-friendly terpenes; a few backcrosses (Mimosa Evo, Mimosa x Orange Punch) tip indica for shorter, denser plants. The whole family stays compact compared to old-school sativas — a real advantage if you're growing in a tent.
We've stocked Mimosa genetics across nearly every major European seed bank because there's genuine variation between them. The Barney's Farm Evo is a different plant from the Royal Queen Seeds version, which is different again from the BSB Genetics original. Picking by breeder matters more here than with most strain families.

Read the table by cycle length first, then THC. A 9-week autoflower at 24% THC is a faster route to a finished plant than a 70-day photoperiod at 27% — yield per plant goes up with photoperiods, but yield per month often goes to autos.
If you've never grown before, order an autoflower. Mimosa Cake Auto by FastBuds, the Royal Queen Seeds Mimosa Auto, or Auto Mimosa Punch from Dutch Passion will all forgive a few mistakes and finish in roughly 9 weeks from seed. Royal Queen also sells single seeds, which keeps the first-time spend low.
Intermediate growers running a tent should buy a feminised photoperiod. Mimosa Evo from Barney's Farm is the obvious pick — compact, 65–70 day flower, up to 700 g/m² indoors, 24%+ THC. Mimosa x Orange Punch is the same breeder's faster, more indica-leaning sibling at 55–60 days. Either one rewards a clean SCROG.
Advanced growers chasing maximum potency should look at the BSB Genetics Mimosa (THC up to 30%) or Pure Instinto's feminised Mimosa (up to 27% THC, with outdoor yields reportedly hitting 1500g per plant in the right hands). When in doubt, start with Mimosa Evo or the Royal Queen Mimosa Auto — both are forgiving, both punch above their weight.
Mimosa is a cross of Clementine and Purple Punch, originally bred by Symbiotic Genetics. The Clementine parent gives the orange-citrus terpenes; Purple Punch contributes the deep purple colour and resin density. Most Mimosa seeds you'll buy today — Barney's Farm, BSB, Royal Queen, Kannabia — work from those same two parents.
Both, depending on the breeder. The original BSB Genetics Mimosa and the Royal Queen version are sativa-dominant (around 70% sativa). Barney's Farm Mimosa Evo and Mimosa x Orange Punch are indica-leaning (60–65% indica). Check the breeder's listing — it varies more in this family than most.
Mimosa typically tests between 22% and 27% THC. The strongest cut we stock is the BSB Genetics Mimosa at up to 30% THC. Autoflower versions sit a touch lower — usually 18–26% — but Mimosa Cake Auto and Auto Mimosa Punch still hit 25%+ in good conditions.
Order an autoflower. Royal Queen Seeds Mimosa Auto is the easiest entry — sold as singles, 9-week cycle, forgiving of light and feed mistakes. Mimosa Cake Auto by FastBuds is a close second if you want heavier purple expression. Both finish in roughly 9 weeks from seed.
