Paradise Seeds is one of the older Dutch seed banks, run out of Amsterdam by founder Luc and his team since the early 1990s. The catalogue was built on stabilised classics — Sensi Star, Nebula, Dutch Dragon, Wappa — and over the last decade has expanded into autoflowers and the modern cookie/gelato wave without abandoning the original Dutch indica and haze backbone. If you want genetics that have been worked for decades rather than rushed-to-market hype, this is the part of the seed wall we point people at.
The range splits into three rough buckets. Feminised photoperiods make up the bulk — the heritage indicas and hazes alongside newer hybrids like Space Cookies, L.A. Amnesia, Stromboli and Purple Mints. Autoflowers cover the fast-and-compact end for growers who don't want to mess with light schedules. The newer additions — Californian Gold, Caramba, Sweetopia, Gulupa — pull in the dessert, fruit and Cali-terp influence that's dominated the market in recent years. Most strains are sold in 3-seed, 5-seed and 10-seed packs.
First grow? Start with Dutch Kush, Wappa or Sensi Star. All three are indica-leaning, compact, forgiving and flower in roughly 8–9 weeks. Paradise's heritage strains were selected over many generations for consistency between seeds, which matters more on your first run than chasing the highest THC number on the shelf. Buy a 3-seed pack until you know your tent, feed and humidity are dialled in.
Intermediate growers wanting flavour should look at Space Cookies, Purple Mints or Stromboli for the cookie/dessert side, and L.A. Amnesia or Dutch Dragon for citrus and haze profiles. These plants want a bit more attention — longer flowering on the sativas, careful feeding on the cookie hybrids — but reward it with stronger terps and bigger yields than the entry-level picks.
Experienced growers chasing the ceiling of the catalogue will want Californian Gold, Caramba, Sweetopia or Mendocino Skunk. These lean into the modern high-THC, high-terp direction and respond well to defoliation, training and a stable environment. If you're growing outdoors in a cooler European climate, stick to the shorter-flowering indicas — Dutch Kush and Wappa handle damp autumns better than the haze-dominant lines.
Dutch Kush, Wappa or Sensi Star. All three are indica-dominant feminised seeds that stay compact, flower in around 8–9 weeks and forgive the mistakes most first-time growers make with feed and watering.
Autoflowers if you want a fast, simple grow without changing the light schedule — good for balconies, small tents and short seasons. Feminised photoperiods if you want larger yields and more control over plant size through veg time. Photoperiods generally produce more per plant.
The shorter-flowering indicas — Dutch Kush, Wappa, Sensi Star — handle damp northern European autumns best. Haze-dominant strains like L.A. Amnesia and Dutch Dragon prefer southern climates or a long, dry finish.
Most Paradise Seeds strains come in 3, 5 and 10-seed packs. All seeds we stock are feminised unless listed otherwise.
