Fuzion MD Series Digital Scale

The Fuzion MD Series is a pocket-sized precision scale that weighs up to 100g with 0.01g accuracy — the resolution you need when every tenth of a gram matters. Disguised as a stack of mini discs, it sits on your desk without screaming "I own a scale." Compact, battery-powered, and genuinely useful.

Why the Fuzion MD Series Scale Belongs on Your Desk

A 0.01g digital scale isn't a luxury — it's the difference between guessing and knowing. If you're weighing herbs, supplements, or anything where precision counts, eyeballing it is a recipe for inconsistency. We've had customers come in saying "I just use a teaspoon" and honestly, a teaspoon of dried herb can vary by 0.5g or more depending on how finely it's ground. That's a big swing when you're working with potent botanicals.

The Fuzion MD Series solves this with a 0.01g readability across a 100g range. That's accurate enough for micro-measurements and spacious enough for larger batches. The auto calibration feature means you're not fiddling with calibration weights every time you turn it on — the scale sorts itself out. And the overload and underload protection means you won't fry the sensor by accidentally dumping too much on the platform.

One thing worth mentioning: the weighing platform is compact. That's the trade-off with any pocket scale — you get portability but not a dinner-plate-sized surface. For bulky, fluffy materials, you'll want a small container on top (tare it out first). The included CR2032 battery is the same coin cell you find in watches, so replacements are cheap and everywhere.

Six Weighing Modes on One 0.01g Pocket Scale

Most people will live in grams mode and never touch the rest — and that's fine. But the Fuzion MD Series gives you six unit options: grams (g), ounces (oz), troy ounces (ozt), pennyweight (dwt), carats (ct), and grains (gn). Troy ounces and pennyweight are mainly for precious metals; carats for gemstones; grains for reloading or traditional apothecary measurements. If you ever need to switch, it's a button press — no conversion calculator required.

The auto switch-off is a quiet hero feature. Pocket scales eat batteries when left on, and the CR2032 isn't exactly a powerhouse cell. The MD Series shuts itself down after a period of inactivity, which means the battery lasts months rather than days. We've seen cheaper scales drain their batteries in a weekend because someone forgot to turn them off. This one looks after itself.

How to Use the Fuzion MD Series Scale

  1. Place the scale on a flat, stable surface. Uneven tables, soft surfaces, or anything near a draught will throw your readings off. A kitchen counter or desk works well — a sofa cushion does not.
  2. Press the power button and wait for the display to read 0.00g. The auto calibration runs at startup, so give it a moment to settle.
  3. If you're using a weighing container (recommended for loose herbs and powders), place it on the platform and press the tare button. The display resets to 0.00g, subtracting the container's weight.
  4. Add your material slowly. The 0.01g resolution means the display updates in real time — you can see each small addition register.
  5. Read the stable weight once the display stops flickering. Most readings stabilise within 2-3 seconds.
  6. To switch weighing modes, press the mode button and cycle through g, oz, ozt, dwt, ct, and gn until you reach the unit you need.
  7. When finished, press the power button to switch off — or simply leave it and the auto switch-off will handle it.
