RAW 2-Way Hemp Plastic Roller

The RAW 2-Way Hemp Plastic Roller is a pocket-sized joint rolling machine that produces two different joint thicknesses from a single device. Flick the switch on the side and toggle between a standard skinny roll and a wider, fatter one — no need to buy two separate rollers. Available in 70mm, 79mm, and 110mm sizes to match your preferred paper length, this is the fastest route from loose herb to a tightly packed, evenly rolled joint.

Which Size Do You Need?

The size refers to the width of the rolling paper the machine accepts — not the diameter of the joint. Match it to whatever papers you already use.

SizeSKUBest Paired With
70mmHS1403Single-wide papers (standard short papers)
79mmHS14041 1/4 size papers — the most common rolling paper size
110mmHS1405King Size papers for longer sessions or sharing

Not sure? The 79mm is the best all-rounder. Most rolling papers you'll find in a shop are 1 1/4 size, and the 79mm roller handles those without a thought. If you tend to roll king size, grab the 110mm.

Complete your setup with RAW Classic or RAW Organic Hemp rolling papers in the matching size. If you're using the 110mm roller, a pack of RAW King Size Slim papers is the obvious pairing. A RAW pre-rolled tip booklet also helps — roll a filter tip into the end of the machine before you start and you'll get a finished joint with a built-in crutch, ready to light.

Why a Joint Roller Is Worth Having Around

Hand-rolling is a skill, and like any skill, some days you nail it and some days you don't. Maybe your fingers are cold. Maybe you're outdoors and the wind keeps catching your paper. Maybe you've just never been able to get a tight, even roll and you're tired of joints that canoe down one side or fall apart halfway through. A rolling machine takes the guesswork out entirely.

The RAW 2-Way Hemp Plastic Roller specifically solves the problem of needing different joint sizes. We've seen people buy a standard roller, then realise they want something wider for weekends or social settings, and end up buying a second one. With the 2-way toggle, you get both in one unit. The switch on the left end clicks between standard and wide — it's a physical mechanism, not something that'll wear out after a few uses. The hemp plastic body has a slightly textured, matte feel to it. It's lightweight (noticeably lighter than a metal roller) but doesn't feel flimsy. The rolling pins grip well and turn smoothly.

One honest note: if you've never used a rolling machine before, the first couple of attempts might produce loose or uneven joints while you figure out how much herb to load. Don't overstuff it — that's the number one mistake we see. A loosely filled roller produces a better joint than a packed-to-bursting one, because the pins need room to compress and shape the herb evenly. After 3 or 4 rolls, you'll have the feel for it and every joint will come out consistent.

How to Use the RAW 2-Way Hemp Plastic Roller

  1. Set your preferred width by toggling the switch on the left end of the roller. One position gives you a standard (skinny) joint, the other a wide (fat) joint. You'll feel it click into place.
  2. Open the roller by lifting the front rolling pin up and towards you. The two pins should separate, exposing the bed of the roller.
  3. Spread your ground herb evenly across the length of the roller. Don't mound it in the centre — distribute it so the joint packs evenly from end to end. If you're using a filter tip, place it at one end now.
  4. Close the roller by pressing the two rolling pins back together. They should sit snugly against each other with the herb sandwiched between them.
  5. Using your thumbs on the front rolling pin, give it one complete turn towards you. This settles and compresses the herb into a cylindrical shape.
  6. Slide a rolling paper into the front of the roller with the gummed (sticky) edge facing you and pointing upwards. Feed it in gently — the rolling pins will grip the paper and start to pull it through.
  7. Continue rolling with your thumbs. Just before the gummed edge disappears into the roller, lick or moisten it so it seals as it wraps around.
  8. Open the roller. Your finished joint should be sitting there, evenly packed and sealed. Give it a gentle tap on a table to settle the herb towards the tip, twist the open end, and you're done.
