RAW King Size Slim Rolling Papers
RAW King Size Slim rolling papers are unbleached, ultra-thin papers made from unrefined plant fibres with zero chemical additives. They burn evenly, taste clean, and come 32 sheets to a pack — the go-to choice if you want nothing between you and your smoke except the bare minimum of paper. Made in Alcoy, Spain, where rolling papers have been produced since the 1700s.
Why RAW King Size Slim Papers Stand Out
Most rolling papers on the market go through a bleaching process — chlorine or calcium carbonate whitening that leaves chemical residues in the paper. RAW skips all of that. The light brown colour you see is the paper's natural state: unrefined fibres with nothing added to change the look, smell, or burn. You can actually feel the difference — hold a RAW paper up to the light and you'll notice the fibres aren't perfectly uniform. That's the point. It's real paper, not a processed sheet.
The adhesive strip uses natural hemp gum rather than synthetic glue. It sticks reliably with a single lick — no need to slobber all over it — and it doesn't leave that faint chemical taste some papers have. At 110mm long and slim width, the King Size Slim format gives you enough room for a proper roll without excess paper flapping about at the seam.
One honest limitation: because these papers are ultra-thin, they're not the most forgiving if you're still learning to roll. They can crease or tear if you handle them roughly. If your rolling technique is still a work in progress, you might find a slightly thicker paper easier to manage — or just grab a set of RAW pre-rolled cones and skip the rolling entirely.

Complete your setup: pair these papers with RAW filter tips for a cleaner draw and a sturdier roll. A RAW rolling tray keeps your workspace tidy and stops loose material from ending up in your carpet. If you'd rather skip the manual rolling, RAW pre-rolled cones in King Size fit the same amount and take about 10 seconds to fill.
Why Unbleached Papers Matter
The paper you roll with is the one thing you're guaranteed to inhale every single time. According to research published in the Journal of Analytical Toxicology, some commercially available rolling papers were found to contain heavy metals that caused samples to fail above testing action limits (PMC, 2024). That's a good reason to care about what your papers are made from.
RAW papers use no chlorine, no calcium carbonate, no burn-rate accelerants, and no dyes. The natural hemp gum adhesive avoids the polyvinyl acetate (PVA) glue found in cheaper papers. You get a slower, more even burn and a taste that's as close to neutral as paper gets. We've been stocking RAW since they first appeared in our shop, and the consistency batch to batch is one of the reasons they've stayed on the shelf for years.
Compared to bleached white papers, the burn rate on RAW King Size Slims is noticeably slower. That means less relighting, less wasted material, and a more relaxed session. The even burn also means fewer "canoes" — that annoying thing where one side burns faster than the other and your roll falls apart halfway through.
How to Roll with RAW King Size Slim Papers
- Take one paper from the pack with the gum strip facing you at the top, sticky side up.
- Make a filter tip by folding a small piece of card into an M or W shape, then rolling the rest around it. Place it at one end of the paper.
- Distribute your material evenly along the paper's length, leaving a slight taper towards the filter end if you prefer a cone shape.
- Pinch the paper between your thumbs and forefingers. Roll back and forth gently to shape the contents into a cylinder.
- Tuck the unglued edge of the paper under the material and roll upwards towards the gum strip. The paper is thin, so be firm but not aggressive — heavy thumbs cause tears.
- Lick the gum strip lightly — one pass is enough with hemp gum — and seal by pressing down along the seam.
- Pack the open end gently with a pen or poker, twist the tip closed, and you're done.
