Mascotte Slim Size Pink Rolling Papers

Mascotte Slim Size Pink Rolling Papers are king size slim papers with a bold pink colour and a slow, even burn. If subtlety is your thing, look elsewhere — these are for rolling sessions where you want your joint to stand out as much as the contents. Made by Mascotte, a brand that's been producing rolling papers since 1856 in the Netherlands, so the quality behind the colour is well established.

Why Go Pink with Your Rolling Papers

Most rolling papers try to disappear — ultra-thin, transparent, unbleached, invisible. The Mascotte Slim Size Pink edition does the opposite. It's a bright, unmistakable pink that turns every roll into a bit of a statement. The paper itself is king size slim format (roughly 108 x 44mm), so you've got the standard length for a proper cone or straight roll without any awkward trimming.

The slow burn is the real selling point beyond the colour. Nobody wants a paper that races ahead of the herb and leaves you with a canoe or a lopsided cherry. Mascotte has been making papers for over 165 years, and the burn rate on these is consistent from tip to roach. The pink dye doesn't affect the taste — you're still getting a clean smoke that lets the flavour of your blend come through.

One honest note: the pink colour does make the paper slightly thicker than Mascotte's Extra Thin line. You can feel the difference when you hold one up to the light. It's not harsh by any means, but if you're someone who obsesses over paper weight measured in g/m², these sit a touch above the ultra-thins. For most people, the trade-off is worth it for the look.

Why These Pink Papers Are Worth Picking Up

We've sold rolling papers since 1999 and the question we get most often about coloured papers is: "Do they taste weird?" Fair question. Cheap novelty papers from unknown brands sometimes do — a chemical aftertaste that ruins the whole point of rolling your own. Mascotte doesn't have that problem. They've been at this since 1856 and the pink papers burn clean, without any off flavours. You're paying for the colour, not compromising on the smoke.

Where these really shine is at parties, festivals, or any session where you want a conversation starter. A pink joint on a rolling tray gets noticed. It's also genuinely useful if you're sharing — you can always tell which one is yours. Compared to standard Mascotte Original Slim Size papers, the only real differences are the colour and a marginally thicker paper stock. If you want the thinnest possible paper Mascotte makes, their Extra Thin range is the one to look at. But if you want something with a bit of personality, the Pink edition is the best coloured king size slim we carry.

How to Roll with Mascotte Slim Size Pink Papers

  1. Pull a single pink paper from the booklet with the gum strip facing you at the top, sticky side up.
  2. Make a roach from a filter tip — roll it into a tight cylinder about 5-7mm in diameter and place it at one end of the paper.
  3. Spread your ground herb evenly along the crease of the paper, slightly more towards the filter end for a cone shape.
  4. Pinch the paper between your thumbs and index fingers, then roll back and forth to shape the contents into an even cylinder.
  5. Tuck the non-gummed edge of the paper under the herb, then roll upward. Lick the gum strip lightly and seal it down.
  6. Pack the open end gently with a pen or poker, twist the tip closed if you're saving it for later, and you're done — bright pink and ready to go.
