Joint-4 Jointmaker — Fill Up to 4 Cones in Under 5 Minutes
The Joint-4 Jointmaker is a cone-filling device that loads 1 to 4 pre-rolled cones with ground herb simultaneously, producing evenly packed, ready-to-smoke joints without any hand-rolling skill. Drop your cones in, pour your ground herb through the top chamber, give it a shake, and you've got up to 4 consistent joints in under 5 minutes. No fumbling with papers, no lopsided results, no wasted herb on the table.
What the Joint-4 Jointmaker Actually Is (and Isn't)
The Joint-4 is a cone filler — not a rolling machine. It doesn't wrap paper around herb. Instead, it takes pre-rolled cones (the kind you buy in packs or make yourself with a Rollmate cone roller) and fills them evenly from a shared top-loading chamber. The distinction matters because rolling machines require you to fiddle with paper tension and tuck, which is exactly the bit most people get wrong. The Joint-4 skips that entirely. You just need cones and ground herb.
The device holds between 1 and 4 standard king-size cones at a time. Each cone sits upright in a holder at the base, gripped at the tip so it stays put during filling. The chamber above distributes herb across all loaded cones when you shake the device — gravity does the packing. It's a dead simple design with no moving parts, no batteries, and nothing to break.

The Joint-4 needs pre-rolled cones to work — pick up a pack of king-size cones alongside it so you're ready to go straight out of the box. A 4-piece grinder is also worth grabbing if you don't already own one; a medium-fine grind gives you the most even pack across all 4 cones. If you'd rather make your own cones from rolling papers, the Rollmate cone roller pairs directly with the Joint-4.
Why the Joint-4 Cone Filler Beats Hand-Rolling
We get it — rolling is a skill, and some people genuinely enjoy the ritual. But if you're reading this page, chances are you're either not great at it, you're tired of inconsistent results, or you need to prepare multiple joints quickly for a group session. The Joint-4 Jointmaker solves all three problems at once.
Hand-rolling 4 joints takes most people 10-15 minutes, and that's if every roll goes right. One tears, one's too loose, one canoes halfway through — you know the drill. The Joint-4 fills all 4 cones in a single batch, under 5 minutes, and every joint comes out packed to the same density. No more "who got the bad one" at the session.
The honest limitation: the Joint-4 won't make you a better roller. It sidesteps rolling entirely. If you want to learn the craft, grab a rolling mat and practise. But if you just want consistent, smokeable joints with zero frustration, this is the fastest tool in our smokeshop for the job. It's also worth noting that the device is plastic — it's lightweight and functional, not a premium display piece. It does the job, it does it well, and it'll last you ages if you don't stand on it.
How to Use the Joint-4 Jointmaker — 3 Steps
- Load your cones: Insert 1, 2, 3, or 4 pre-rolled king-size cones into the holders at the base of the Joint-4. The holders grip each cone tip so they stay upright. Make sure they're seated snugly — a loose cone means uneven filling.
- Add ground herb: Grind your herb to a medium-fine consistency using a 4-piece grinder. The finer the grind, the more evenly the herb distributes across all cones. Pour the ground herb into the top chamber. A standard king-size cone holds roughly 0.7-1g depending on how tightly you pack, so for 4 cones you'll want around 3-4g of ground herb ready.
- Shake and pack: Give the Joint-4 a few firm shakes to distribute the herb down through the chamber and into each cone. The gravity-fed design spreads the herb evenly across all loaded cones. Once filled, remove each cone and twist or fold the top closed. Done — up to 4 joints, under 5 minutes, no rolling required.
