Lemon Sorbet Cannabis Seeds by Silent Seeds

Lemon Sorbet is a feminised cannabis seed from Silent Seeds that crosses Lemon Tree with Larry OG to produce a balanced hybrid with bold citrus aromatics and heavy resin production. She's fast, she's resilient, and she throws out yields that make experienced growers do a double take — up to 1300g per plant outdoors. If you want reliable genetics without babysitting your grow, this is where you start.

Why Lemon Sorbet Seeds Deserve a Spot in Your Grow

Silent Seeds built Lemon Sorbet around two parent strains that each bring something specific to the table. Lemon Tree delivers that sharp, unmistakable citrus nose — crack a jar of properly cured Lemon Sorbet and it hits you like fresh lemon zest grated straight off the rind, backed by a sweet, almost sherbet-like undertone. Larry OG contributes structural density and that classic OG resin coat. The result is buds that are fat, swollen-calyx dense, and absolutely caked in trichomes.

The genetic split sits close to 50/50 indica-sativa, and you can feel it in the effect profile. The mental side comes on first — clear, alert, a bit stimulating — before the indica genetics settle into the body. It's the kind of balanced hybrid that doesn't lock you to the sofa but doesn't leave you wired either. According to a retrospective analysis published in PMC (PMC8581558), high-THC products can occasionally produce anxiety or paranoia at elevated doses, so if you're growing for personal use, keep that in mind when gauging your consumption.

One honest limitation: Lemon Sorbet stretches. Indoors, she can get tall if you let her veg too long. We'd keep the vegetative phase to about 3 weeks in a tent — any longer and you'll be fighting your ceiling. Outdoors, that vigour is a gift. Plant early, let her stretch, and she'll reward you with massive harvests come autumn.

Lemon Sorbet Grow Guide: Indoor vs Outdoor

Lemon Sorbet is one of the more forgiving strains we've come across from Silent Seeds. She handles stress-heavy training techniques — LST, topping, supercropping — without throwing tantrums. That natural pest and mould resistance means fewer sleepless nights checking for powdery mildew, which is a genuine relief if you're growing in a humid climate or a tent without perfect airflow.

  1. Germinate your Lemon Sorbet seeds using your preferred method — paper towel, direct soil, or jiffy pellets all work fine.
  2. Transplant seedlings into their final containers once they show 2-3 sets of true leaves. Fabric pots (15-25L) work well indoors.
  3. Keep the vegetative phase to roughly 3 weeks indoors. She grows vigorously, so cutting veg short prevents her from outgrowing your tent height.
  4. Apply training early — top once above the 4th or 5th node, then use LST to spread the canopy. She responds well and recovers fast.
  5. Flip to 12/12 light cycle to trigger flowering. Expect approximately 65 days from flip to harvest.
  6. Outdoors, plant as early in the season as possible to maximise the vegetative phase. The longer she vegs, the bigger the frame — and with yields up to 1300g per plant, that frame matters.
  7. Monitor trichome colour with a jeweller's loupe in the final 2 weeks. Harvest when you see mostly cloudy trichomes with a few turning amber.
  8. Dry in a dark room at 18-20°C and 55-60% humidity for 10-14 days, then cure in sealed jars for at least 2 weeks.

Lemon Sorbet Aroma and Bud Quality

This is where Lemon Sorbet really earns its name. The terpene profile is dominated by that Lemon Tree parentage — sharp, zesty citrus that fills the room when you break a bud open. There's a sweetness underneath, almost like lemon curd, that rounds off the sharpness and makes the whole profile feel more dessert than cleaning product. The Larry OG side adds a subtle earthy, fuel-like bass note that keeps things interesting.

Bud structure is dense and chunky. The calyxes swell noticeably during the last weeks of flower, stacking on top of each other and catching light off a thick layer of resin. If you're into extracts or concentrates, Lemon Sorbet is an excellent candidate — the resin production is generous enough to make dry sifting or pressing worthwhile. Compared to something like Silent Seeds' other offerings, Lemon Sorbet stands out specifically for that combination of bag appeal and aromatic intensity. If you've grown Amnesia Lemon or Super Lemon Haze before and enjoyed the citrus angle, Lemon Sorbet hits a similar note but with more physical density in the buds.

Lemon Sorbet Yield Expectations

500g/m² indoors is the benchmark Silent Seeds quotes, and from what we've seen, that's achievable with a standard 600W HPS or equivalent LED in a well-managed tent. The real showstopper is the outdoor figure: up to 1300g per plant. That's not a typo. Given the right climate — warm, sunny, with a long growing season — Lemon Sorbet can turn into an absolute tree. Even in less-than-ideal northern European conditions, you're looking at substantial harvests if you get her in the ground early enough.

For indoor growers chasing maximum yield, a SCROG net works brilliantly with this strain. The vigorous growth fills the screen quickly during veg, and the dense bud sites that form at each node translate directly into weight at harvest. Keep your canopy even, maintain good airflow beneath, and you'll see those 500g/m² numbers without much drama.

Growing Lemon Sorbet indoors? Pair these seeds with a complete grow tent kit to get your setup dialled in from day one. A carbon filter is non-negotiable with this strain — that lemon aroma is gorgeous, but your neighbours might not appreciate it as much as you do. A jeweller's loupe is also worth grabbing for checking trichome ripeness in those final weeks before chop.
