Sagarmatha Seeds is one of the older Dutch boutique breeders, named after the Nepali word for Everest and run out of Amsterdam for decades. They've never chased catalogue size the way some of the bigger Dutch banks have — instead the focus has been on a handful of strains, refined over multiple generations, mostly leaning towards berry and bubblegum flavour profiles with heavy resin coats. If you've ever come across Blueberry Bud or one of the bubblegum-berry crosses in a coffeeshop, that's the lineage.
Our Sagarmatha shelf is small on purpose. We carry the three strains that the bank is best known for: Strawberry D-Lite (a strawberry-flavoured indica hybrid), Double Bubble Berry (a bubblegum x berry cross with a sweet candy nose), and Blueberry Bud (the classic blueberry indica that put a lot of fruit-genetics breeders on the map in the first place). All three are feminised and all three reward growers who like dense, sticky, sweet-smelling buds rather than the loud cookie-and-gelato terps that dominate modern catalogues.
If it's your first grow, Blueberry Bud is the safest pick. Blueberry genetics have been worked for so long that the plants are predictable — indica structure, manageable height, classic 8–9 week indoor flowering range, and forgiving of the small mistakes new growers make with feed and watering. Start with a small pack and treat it as a learning run.
If you've done a grow or two and want something with a more distinctive nose, go for Strawberry D-Lite or Double Bubble Berry. Both are flavour-first strains — the appeal is in the terpene profile rather than raw THC numbers — and both finish in a normal indoor cycle without exotic technique. Double Bubble Berry tends to be the sweeter and more candy-forward of the two; Strawberry D-Lite is cleaner and more fruit-like.
Advanced growers who want to push these genetics will get the most out of them in a controlled environment where humidity can be kept down through late flower — the dense, resinous buds Sagarmatha is known for are exactly the kind that punish high humidity in the last fortnight. Pay attention to airflow, train lightly rather than aggressively, and don't overfeed. These are old-school fruit indicas, not modern nutrient-hungry hybrids.

Blueberry Bud. It's indica-dominant, compact, finishes in a standard indoor cycle, and the underlying blueberry genetics have been stabilised over many generations. It tolerates beginner mistakes better than the sweeter, denser-budded options.
The Sagarmatha seeds we carry — Strawberry D-Lite, Double Bubble Berry and Blueberry Bud — are feminised, meaning the plants will grow as females and produce flower without needing to be sexed.
The indica-leaning Sagarmatha strains can be grown outdoors in temperate climates, but the dense fruit-flavoured buds are vulnerable to late-season humidity and rain. In wetter European autumns they perform more reliably indoors or in a greenhouse where humidity can be managed through flower.
