Reserva Privada is the boutique sister label to DNA Genetics, set up to house the breeders' personal cuts — the strains they kept for themselves before deciding the wider market was ready. The line leans hard into Californian heritage genetics: OG Kush phenotypes, Sour Diesel crosses, and fruit-forward hybrids pulled from clone-only mothers. If you've smoked OG Kush in any form over the past two decades, the lineage probably traces back through a Reserva Privada or DNA cut at some point.
The catalogue is small on purpose. Where bigger seed banks chase every new hype strain, Reserva Privada has stuck to a tighter selection of stabilised classics. She's a forgiving plant, finishes in a reasonable window, and the flavour profile is rewarding enough to keep a new grower interested through the learning curve. Start with a small pack and pop them one at a time if you're testing your setup.
For intermediate growers, OG Kush is the obvious pick. It's the strain the rest of the OG family was built from, and growing it teaches you a lot about feed, humidity, and timing — OGs are famously fussy about nutrient balance and will show you every mistake on the leaves. Get her right and the reward is the original fuel-and-citrus profile that's been the West Coast standard for 25 years.
The OG 18 is the advanced pick. The phenotype was selected for potency and resin, but she's less forgiving than her parent — tighter on feed tolerances, fussier about humidity in late flower, and prone to dense buds that need airflow to stay clean. If you've already run OG Kush successfully and want to push the same lineage further, this is where it goes.

Strawberry Banana. She's the most forgiving of the three we stock, with a shorter learning curve than the OG cuts. OG Kush and The OG 18 are both rewarding but want a grower who already understands feed and humidity management.
The Reserva Privada seeds we stock are feminised photoperiod, so you won't need to sex plants and you'll need to switch your light cycle to 12/12 to trigger flowering.
