1. Germination: Use the paper towel method or plant directly into a starter plug. Feminised seeds from Garden of Green have strong germination rates, but keep your medium moist (not soaked) and temperatures around 22–25°C.
2. Vegetative phase: Start training early. Top once above the 4th or 5th node to encourage lateral branching and control the sativa stretch. LST (low-stress training) works well here — bend and tie the main stem to open up the canopy.
3. Flip to flower: Switch to 12/12 light when plants reach roughly half your target final height. Diesel Berry Cough will stretch 50–100% in the first 2 weeks of flower, so plan accordingly.
