Low-stress training (LST) or a ScrOG net works brilliantly here. Tying down those long branches exposes more bud sites to light and keeps the canopy even.

Yield numbers are genuinely impressive for a sativa-leaning strain. Indoors, expect around 500g per square metre with proper lighting and nutrition. 2. Transplant seedlings into your chosen medium once the taproot is 1–2cm long. SexBud does well in soil, coco coir, or hydro setups. Start under 18/6 light for the vegetative phase.
3. Begin low-stress training early in veg — SexBud's sativa stretch means she'll gain significant height once you flip to 12/12. Bending and tying main stems encourages a wider, more productive canopy.
4. Switch to a 12/12 light cycle to trigger flowering. Expect noticeable stretch during the first 2 weeks. Increase phosphorus and potassium in your feed schedule as buds begin to form.
5. Monitor temperature closely. SexBud prefers daytime temperatures of 22–28°C and does not respond well to cold snaps. Keep nighttime temps above 15°C.
6. Harvest after approximately 8 weeks of flowering. Check trichomes with a loupe — mostly milky with a few amber heads is the sweet spot for that energetic, creative effect SexBud is known for.
7. Dry in a dark, well-ventilated space at 18–22°C and 55–60% humidity for 7–10 days. Cure in glass jars for at least 2 weeks to bring out the full tropical fruit flavour.
