Green Tiger Cannabis Seeds by BSF Seeds

Green Tiger is a feminised cannabis seed from BSF Seeds that delivers a fast-flowering, heavy-yielding indica-dominant grow with 22% THC potency. Bred from an exceptional Early Skunk x Skunk P90 clone crossed with a rapid-flowering variety, this 80/20 indica-sativa hybrid finishes flowering in just six weeks — one of the shortest cycles you'll find in a photoperiod strain. The buds smell like a sweet, skunky fruit cocktail, and the smoke follows through on that promise. If you want speed without sacrificing weight or strength, this is the seed to drop.

Why Green Tiger Seeds Deserve a Spot in Your Grow Room

Six-week flowering on a photoperiod strain that still pulls 500–650g/m² indoors — that's the headline with Green Tiger. Most fast-flowering feminised seeds make compromises: either the yields drop, the potency dips, or the terp profile goes flat. BSF Seeds avoided all three traps here. They started with a proven Early Skunk x Skunk P90 clone — already a solid performer — and crossed it with a fast-flowering line specifically to compress the cycle without gutting the genetics.

The result is a plant that stays manageable at 1–1.5m, develops a dense canopy of bud sites, and wraps up before most strains have even started fattening their calyxes. Outdoors, expect 400–600g per plant, which is a serious haul for something this quick. We've seen growers run two full cycles in the time it takes a standard 10-week strain to finish one. That's not a gimmick — it's a genuine advantage if you're working with limited seasons or want to maximise turnover in a tent.

The honest limitation? With 80% indica genetics and a compact structure, you'll want to stay on top of airflow around the lower canopy. Dense, resinous buds on a short plant can invite humidity issues if your ventilation isn't sorted. A decent clip fan and some light defoliation in week 3–4 of flower will save you headaches. It's not a fussy plant by any stretch, but don't just set and forget it in a damp corner.

Green Tiger Flavour and Aroma Profile

Crack open a cured jar of Green Tiger and the first thing that hits you is a sweet, tangy fruitiness — almost like someone squeezed a ripe mango into a bowl of berries. Then the skunk rolls in underneath, unmistakable and unapologetic. It's that old-school funk that Skunk P90 genetics are known for, but softened by the sweeter top notes so it doesn't overwhelm.

When smoked or vaporised, the flavour profile holds together well. The inhale is fruity-sweet with a slight citrus edge; the exhale brings that dank, skunky earthiness that coats the palate. If you've grown Early Skunk before, you'll recognise the backbone — Green Tiger just dresses it up with more sugar. Compared to something like BSF Seeds' Gorilla Banana, Green Tiger leans less tropical and more classic-skunk-meets-fruit-punch. Both are excellent, but Green Tiger has a sharper, tangier bite.

Green Tiger Indoor vs Outdoor Growing Comparison

Green Tiger performs in both environments, but the specifics shift enough that it's worth planning ahead. Here's how the two setups compare:

Factor Indoor Outdoor
Yield 500–650g/m² 400–600g/plant
Height 1–1.2m (typical with training) 1–1.5m
Flowering Time 6 weeks from flip 6 weeks (harvest late September in Northern Europe)
Best Training Method LST or SOG (compact structure suits both) Light topping to open canopy
Key Risk Humidity in dense canopy Late-season rain on dense buds

Indoors, the 6-week flower cycle means you can realistically run a full seed-to-harvest in under 14 weeks including veg. Under a 600W HPS or equivalent LED in an 80x80 tent, two to four Green Tiger plants will fill the space without crowding. Outdoors, the fast finish is a genuine advantage in northern climates — you're harvesting before the autumn rains really set in, which massively reduces the risk of bud rot on those dense indica colas.

Running Green Tiger in a tent? Pair these seeds with a complete grow kit — tent, light, ventilation, and carbon filter in one box. For feeding, a quality organic nutrient line will bring out the best in those fruity-sweet terpenes without overcomplicating things.

How to Grow Green Tiger Seeds

  1. Germinate your Green Tiger seeds using the paper towel method or directly in a starter plug. Tap roots typically emerge within 24–72 hours. Keep the environment warm (22–25°C) and moist but not waterlogged.
  2. Transplant seedlings into their final containers once the first true leaves appear. For indoor grows, 11–15 litre pots work well given the 1–1.2m final height. Outdoors, 20+ litres or direct soil gives the roots room to stretch.
  3. Veg for 3–5 weeks under 18/6 light. Green Tiger grows quickly and develops a bushy structure thanks to its indica dominance. Apply low-stress training (LST) during veg to open up the canopy and expose lower bud sites — this pays off massively with a strain that produces so many nodes.
  4. Flip to 12/12 when plants reach roughly half your target final height. Green Tiger stretches modestly during the first two weeks of flower, then focuses energy on bud production.
  5. During weeks 3–4 of flower, do a light defoliation of large fan leaves blocking airflow to the interior. With dense indica buds stacking up, good air circulation is your best defence against mould.
  6. Monitor trichomes from week 5 onwards. At 22% THC, Green Tiger packs resin on fast. Harvest when trichomes shift from clear to mostly milky with a few amber heads for a balanced effect.
  7. Dry in a dark room at 18–20°C and 55–60% relative humidity for 7–10 days, then cure in glass jars for at least two weeks. The sweet, skunky terp profile really opens up after a proper cure.
