Flowering takes roughly 10 weeks. Not the fastest finisher, but the wait pays off in dense, resinous colas that justify every day of patience. She responds well to topping and LST (low-stress training) to keep the canopy even and light penetration consistent. How to Grow NY Diesel Seeds

1. Germinate your NY Diesel seeds using the paper towel method or directly in a starter plug. Keep the environment warm (22-25°C) and moist. Taproots typically emerge within 48-72 hours.
2. Transplant seedlings into small pots (1-2 litres) with a light, well-draining soil or coco coir mix. Keep humidity around 65-70% during the seedling stage.
3. Move to final containers (11-15 litres for indoor) once the plant has 4-5 nodes. NY Diesel develops a strong root system, so do not skimp on pot size.
4. During vegetative growth, top the plant above the 4th or 5th node to encourage lateral branching. Use LST to spread the canopy — she stretches, so controlling height early pays off.
5. Switch to a 12/12 light cycle to trigger flowering. Expect significant stretch in the first 2-3 weeks of flower. Support heavy branches with stakes or a trellis net as buds develop.
6. Run a carbon filter from week 1 of flower onwards — the smell intensifies rapidly. Maintain temperatures around 20-26°C and humidity below 50% in late flower to protect those resin-heavy buds from mould.
7. Harvest after approximately 10 weeks of flowering, when trichomes show a mix of milky white and amber under magnification. Dry slowly in a dark room at 18-20°C for 7-10 days, then cure in glass jars for at least 2 weeks.
