Spazzola Garletti Seeds by TICAL — Garlic, Pepper, and Pure Power
Spazzola Garletti is a feminised cannabis seed from TICAL Genetics that crosses Chem D with Gelato to produce a resin-heavy hybrid with 22–26% THC and a terpene profile that genuinely smells like someone crushed garlic into a pepper grinder over a skunk. Not subtle. Not trying to be. If you've grown cookie-leaning hybrids and found the terps a bit samey, this is the one that'll remind you why you started growing in the first place.
We've been stocking seeds from dozens of breeders since 1999, and every now and then something lands on the shelf that makes us stop and pay attention. Spazzola Garletti is that kind of seed. The genetics are loud, the yields are serious, and the grow itself is a proper project — not a set-and-forget autoflower. This one asks something of you.
Pack Sizes
| Pack | Seeds | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 3-pack | 3 feminised seeds | First run — test the genetics, dial in your environment |
| 5-pack | 5 feminised seeds | Pheno hunting — find your keeper and clone from there |
| 10-pack | 10 feminised seeds | Dedicated runs — fill a tent or select multiple phenotypes |
Start with the 3-pack if you've never grown a heavy-stretching hybrid before. The 5-pack gives you enough genetic variation to find a standout phenotype worth keeping as a mother plant.
Spazzola Garletti Terpene Profile — Garlic, Pepper, and Skunk Depth
The flavour on Spazzola Garletti is where this strain earns its name. Caryophyllene and humulene drive the front end — sharp pepper and a warm, herbal spice that hits the back of your throat. Underneath that, there's a savoury garlic note that's genuinely pungent. Not garlic bread. Actual raw garlic. And then the Chem D parentage layers in a classic skunk funk that rounds out the whole profile into something deeply savoury and unmistakably dank.
If you've grown Gelato crosses before, you'll recognise the resin production — dense trichome coverage across the buds and sugar leaves. But where most Gelato hybrids lean sweet or creamy, Spazzola Garletti goes the opposite direction entirely. This is a savoury strain through and through. The kind of flower that fills a room when you crack a jar. Your carbon filter earns its keep with this one.
Growing Spazzola Garletti Cannabis Seeds — What to Expect
Here's the honest bit: Spazzola Garletti is not a beginner-friendly grow. It's rewarding, but it demands attention. During veg, growth is moderate — nothing alarming. The moment you flip to bloom, though, expect a significant stretch over the first 4–5 weeks. We're talking plants that can double or even triple in height. If you're growing in a tent, top early and consider a ScROG net to keep the canopy even. Otherwise you'll be fighting height issues by week 3 of flower.
The other thing to watch: water intake. Spazzola Garletti is an unusually thirsty plant. If you're used to watering every 2–3 days in coco, you might find yourself watering daily during peak bloom. In soil, keep a close eye on pot weight — she drinks fast. Underwatering shows up quickly as drooping leaves and slowed bud development. Overwatering is less of a risk here than with most strains, purely because the root system is so active.
Support the branches. By weeks 7–8 of bloom, the buds pack on weight rapidly, and lateral branches can snap under their own load. Bamboo stakes or a trellis net are not optional — they're part of the grow plan. After roughly 10 weeks in bloom, you're looking at sizeable yields of dense, resin-coated flower with that unmistakable garlic-pepper nose.

Growing a stretchy, heavy-feeding hybrid like Spazzola Garletti? Make sure your setup can keep up. A ScROG net helps manage that aggressive bloom stretch, and a quality carbon filter is non-negotiable once those garlic terps start filling the room around week 5. If you're running soil, grab some extra perlite to improve drainage — this plant drinks hard and fast roots need airflow.
Why Spazzola Garletti Seeds Stand Out
The cannabis seed market is full of Gelato crosses. Most of them lean sweet, creamy, maybe a bit fruity. They're pleasant. They're also interchangeable. Spazzola Garletti goes in a completely different direction by pairing Gelato's resin production and density with Chem D's aggressive, fuel-forward terpene character. The result is a savoury, pungent hybrid that doesn't taste like anything else in your garden.
At 22–26% THC, the potency is firmly in the heavy-hitter range. Combined with the high resin output, Spazzola Garletti is also an excellent base for making concentrates — rosin pressers and bubble hash makers will get serious returns from this cultivar. The trichome coverage extends well onto the sugar leaves, so even your trim run produces quality material.
The one genuine downside: the stretch. If you're growing in a 1.2m tall tent, you'll need to flip to bloom early — possibly after just 2–3 weeks of veg — or you'll run out of headroom. Growers with taller spaces or outdoor setups have more flexibility, but even then, training and support are part of the deal. This isn't a complaint; it's just the reality of growing a vigorous Chem D cross. The yields justify the effort.
How to Grow Spazzola Garletti Seeds
- Germinate your feminised Spazzola Garletti seeds using the paper towel method or directly in a propagation plug. Maintain a temperature of 22–26°C and keep the medium moist but not waterlogged. Taproots typically emerge within 24–72 hours.
- Transplant seedlings into their final containers once the first set of true leaves appears. Use at least 11-litre pots for indoor grows — the root system on this strain is vigorous and benefits from space.
- During vegetative growth, top the plant at least once after the 4th or 5th node to encourage lateral branching. Consider installing a ScROG net at canopy height before flipping to bloom.
- Flip to 12/12 lighting earlier than you normally would. Account for the heavy stretch — plants can double or triple in height during the first 4–5 weeks of bloom. If your tent ceiling is 1.8m, flip after 2–4 weeks of veg depending on pot size.
- Increase watering frequency once bloom begins. Spazzola Garletti drinks significantly more than most hybrids. In coco, daily watering may be necessary from week 3 of flower onwards. In soil, check pot weight daily.
- Support branches with bamboo stakes or a second trellis layer from week 6 of bloom. The buds become heavy and dense — unsupported branches will bend or snap.
- Harvest after approximately 10 weeks of bloom. Check trichomes with a loupe or digital microscope — aim for mostly cloudy with a few amber heads for full terpene expression and peak potency.
- Dry in a dark, well-ventilated space at 18–20°C and 55–60% humidity for 10–14 days. Cure in glass jars for a minimum of 2 weeks, burping daily for the first 5 days. The garlic and pepper notes intensify significantly during a proper cure.
