King's Kush Feminized Cannabis Seeds

King's Kush is a feminized cannabis seed from Greenhouse Seeds that crosses OG Kush with Grape to produce massive yields of deeply potent, indica-dominant flower. With 20% THC and a flowering time of just 9 weeks, this strain delivers royal-grade harvests — up to 800g/m² indoors or a staggering 1.1kg per plant outdoors. The dark, almost black foliage contrasts dramatically with lime-green buds coated in white trichomes, making this one of the most visually striking plants you'll grow.

Why King's Kush Seeds Deserve Your Grow Space

There's a reason Greenhouse Seeds gave this one a royal title, and it's not just marketing bluster. King's Kush is the kind of strain that justifies the electricity bill. You're looking at 800g/m² indoors after a 9-week flower — that's an exceptional gram-per-watt ratio if your lighting is dialled in. Outdoors, each plant can push 1.1kg when given space and decent sun, with harvest landing in early October before the autumn rains turn everything to mush.

The genetics are solid. OG Kush brings that heavy, long-lasting stone and resin production, while the Grape parentage adds bag appeal and a touch of sweetness to the terpene profile. At 20% THC, this isn't a strain that lets you forget you smoked it — the effects are heavy, cerebral-to-body, and they linger. We'd compare it to something like Critical Kush in terms of yield potential, but King's Kush has a more complex flavour and a darker, moodier appearance in late flower.

The one honest limitation: those dark leaves can make it slightly harder to spot early nutrient deficiencies compared to lighter-coloured strains. Keep an eye on the lower canopy and you'll be fine. Also, the heavy resin production means you'll want sharp, clean scissors at harvest — this plant gums up trimming shears fast.

How to Grow King's Kush Seeds

  1. Germinate your feminized seeds using the paper towel method or directly in a starter plug. Keep temperatures between 22-26°C and humidity around 70% during germination.
  2. Transplant seedlings into their final containers once the taproot is established — 11-15 litre pots for indoor, 30+ litres or open soil for outdoor grows.
  3. During vegetative growth, take advantage of King's Kush's branching structure. Top the plant once or twice and spread branches with LST ties or a ScrOG net to create an even canopy.
  4. Switch to 12/12 lighting when your canopy fills roughly 70% of the net (indoor). Outdoor plants will transition naturally as days shorten in late summer.
  5. Support branches during weeks 5-9 of flower — the buds get heavy. Bamboo stakes or a trellis net prevent snapping.
  6. Flush for the final 7-10 days before harvest. You'll know she's ready when the trichomes shift from clear to milky-white with some amber. Expect harvest around week 9 of flower indoors, or early October outdoors.
  7. Dry in a dark room at 18-20°C with 55-60% humidity for 10-14 days, then cure in glass jars for at least 2 weeks. The terpene profile develops significantly during cure.
