6 ways mushrooms can save the world

6 ways mushrooms can save the world Paul Stamets, whom we know from The Mushroom Cultivator, Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms and Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World, appeared on a TV program called Ideas Worth Spreading to share his insights into the ways mushrooms could save the Earth.

In this richly illustrated and well researched presentation Paul focuses on the mycelium especially, the organism of which the visible mushrooms are the fruiting bodies, and presents 6 ways in which it could factually save mankind.

Since we've heard similar bold claims about large-scale cultivation of Cannabis, there's reason to believe we can actually make it through our current environmental crisis, if only governments would stop spending so much time banning plants and fungi, and instead paid more attention to their potential uses.
